Mohamed Omar is the Founder of The Mentor’s Compass—a results-driven Canadian educator, AI-in-education advocate, researcher, and academic leader with over 22 years of experience in higher education, instructional design, and faculty development across Canada and the Middle East.
Based in Ottawa, Mohamed has led major English language programs, teacher training initiatives, and institutional development projects impacting thousands of learners and educators. As Editor-in-Chief of The Mentor’s Compass, he heads a consulting and coaching platform focused on AI research, ethical implementation, and industry-wide training.
